MANDATO Chapter 1 walkthrough
Chapter 1 is a straight line. These are the beats that show up in more than one full recording, in the order they happen.
What I checked
I followed ItsDaKimchi from the opening news broadcast through the text to Mina, then jumped to Kubz Scouts for the relief line and the hospital. Where the two of them do the same action I wrote it down. Where only one of them fumbles a dark corner, I mention the darkness and skip the dead ends.
Home, morning
The chapter opens on a black screen and a news report about government money, unemployment, and a “Vote for Mayor Perez” line. You wake in the bedroom. A child’s drawing on the table reads “Papa, Mama, and Leah.” The phone is in the drawer. Leave it for now.
Eat with Mina. She asks about your shift, then says she is running late and asks you to wash the dishes. Put the plate in the sink. The prompts are hold to rinse, scrub, rinse, repeat. Watch television and change the channel. She leaves a note about the lights and the lock.
The ID and the phone
Her ID is by the door. The on-screen clock in the ItsDaKimchi recording reads 11:05 around this moment. Read the badge, then take the phone from the bedroom drawer, swipe up, and enter 7205. Text her. She says she is on a tricycle and that you have her ID. Photograph the ID and send the picture. The separate password page lists the failed guesses.
Street, relief goods, bar
A neighbor says the mayor is handing out relief goods on the next street and that you should queue. The same conversation brings up a burned relocation site and a new bar, which players read as an insurance angle. Queue, collect the goods, and talk to the mayor. Back on the street you hear arguments about missing funds and hospital money.
Your shift is at Ligaya Lounge Bar, 3pm to 11pm, six days a week. The employment letter is dated 2024-03-02 and says the job starts on 2024-04-04. Serve customers. The mayor is in the room. You overhear a conversation you should not hear. Record it on the phone and send the video to Mina.
Night and the hospital
The walk home is the part players call too dark. Several uploads get turned around here. Stay on the road and look for the tricycle wait. The chapter then moves to the hospital. Leah is the patient. A nurse tells you to wait because you are not the only emergency. The doctor says they did everything they could and could not save your child. Juan’s last monologue is on the ending page.
A screen at the end states that the game is still in development, that this is chapter 1, and that bugs are possible. That text is in the Kubz Scouts upload around 39:40.
